For those who prefer a bigger red with their barbecue, try this Cabernet Franc from Domaine de Naudy in the Aude valley. For me it's the quintessential southern red. You can almost smell the heat of the south in the crunchy cranberry nose. The palate is classic Languedoc too - a solid round torso enveloped by the crunchy flavours of Cabernet Franc which finish dry but totally fruit-driven.
