2007 was an excellent vintage for white burgundy, rounding off a trio of good vintages following 2005 and 2006. The 2007 Les Charmes has the classic taste of fine Meursault: finely tuned, creamy fruit complexed by oak aging lends a hazelnutty veneer to the sublime, yet mouthfilling flavours which linger long after the finish. Meursault Les Charmes 2007 from Vallet Frères shows its class in its perfect balance, length and persistence.
